PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To align the eccentric shaft of 'an eccentric composite shaft wherein the eccentric shaft is integrally connected to a journal with a constant eccentric amount' with the center axis of a drive unit with high precision. SOLUTION: This method is as follows. As shown in Figure (A), 'a V-shaped receiving seat 5 making the journal 1a eccentric to the Z-axis by the dimension e when seating the journal 1a' is fixed to a rotary shaft of the drive unit 3. As shown in Figure (B), the eccentric shaft 1b is nipped by a pair of probes, (i.e., an upper probe 6u and a lower probe 6d) in a Y-axis direction with turning the eccentric shaft 1b to an approach direction to the Z-axis. When coming into an alignment state as shown in Figure (C), the turning of the eccentric composite shaft 1 is stopped, and the journal 1a is pressed and fixed to the V-shaped receiving seat 5.
