PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath mat with appropriate cushion properties which drains well to almost prevent the occurrence of mold and is satisfactory to the touch. SOLUTION: Two pieces of mesh cloths 2a and 2b are connected together by innumerable connecting threads 3 to form a solid mesh sheet 1 in a thick sheet shape. A plurality of the solid mesh sheets 1 are laid one on top of another and joined together to constitute a bath mat. A slip preventing treatment 4 is applied to at least the surface of the bath mat in contact with a floor surface.
