PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laying block for greening which can be piled and worked easily and also suited to mass production. SOLUTION: This piling block 100 has a frame body 110 which internally has soil filled up permitting planting and a support portion 120 which projects out from the back surface of the frame body 110 to the rear and comes into contact with the face of slope. As the inner and outer surfaces of the wall portion 114 at the back surface side of the frame body 110 are turned downward from the middle of the height, they form a sloped surface 114b turned to the front face side. The rear end potion 121 of the support portion 120 has an upper and lower surfaces having the same height as that of the frame body 110, and the block can be piled with the block held almost horizontal. The lower surface of coupled wall portion 122 of the support portion 120 is desired to be formed with a notched surface 122a. Also, wall portions 113 at both the sides of the frame body 110 are desired to have a curved surface projecting outwardly in plan view.
