PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device capable of performing stable paper feeding even in the case of a sheet having high rigidity without conveyance failure. SOLUTION: This sheet feeding device is provide with a displaceable sheet intermediate plate 70 for supporting a sheet, a paper feeding roller for feeding out a sheet supported on the intermediate plate 70, and a separating roller 53 coming into the paper feeding roller 51 to form a contact part for separating the fed sheet, and the paper feeding roller 51 and the separating roller 53 and the like are arranged so that the angle made between the tangent of the paper feeding roller 51 in the contact position between the paper feeding roller 51 and the sheet and the tangent in the contact part on the paper feeding roller 51 side is an obtuse angle. The sheet feeding device is provided with a conveyor guide means disposed on the separating roller 53 side from the contact part for guiding the sheet to the contact part, and the conveyor guide means has a projecting guide part formed so that the upstream part in the sheet feeding direction of the contact part is projected over the guide surface toward the paper feeding roller 51.
