PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily adhesive biaxially oriented polyester film which is a flat and thin film and equipped with excellent adhesive properties and blocking resistance as well as shaping resistance and also has excellent electromagnetic conversion characteristics. SOLUTION: In the easily adhesive biaxially oriented polyester film, a coated layer containing 100 pts.wt. water dispersible copolymerized polyester resin and 5-50 pts.wt. heat resistant polymer particle having 10-50 nm average particle diameter (DAVG) as a main component is provided on at least one side of the polyester film having 2-11μm thickness. The formulas (1)-(4) are satisfied on 25% particle diameter (D25) of heat resistant polymer particle, 75% particle diameter (D75), thickness (nm) of the coated layer and the average particle diameter (nm) of a heat resistant polymer. D25/DAVG>=0.4...(1) D75/DAVG<=1.4...(2) 1.6<D75/D25<=3.0...(3) 0.2 <= (thickness of coated layer/average particle diameter of heat resistant polymer) <= 2.0...(4).
