PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment and a method for refuse separation to highly efficiently separate refuse in which although the equipment is made compact, refuse of the natural world such as drift woods, dead leaves and branches can be collected friendly to the earth and purly as far as possible in a form of energy recycling, further the dust produced nonnaturally such as plastics and the like can be separated so as to be easy for disposal, and the consumption energy for the separation is comparatively small due to the compact construction. SOLUTION: The refuse separation equipment comprises a disk screen conveyor as a main body, in which angular disk are coaxially arranged to form rotary bodies of angular disk arrangement, which are arranged in the same rotational direction in a zigzag arrangement in the entire structure. A discharge conveyor is arranged in parallel under the disk screen conveyor for receiving mainly dust of the natural world such as finely crushed waste, and an air classifier for sucking and separately collecting light nonnatural dust for the most part is disposed at the upper part near the terminal.
