PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water sprinkling device which can perform the fire- extinguishing of a fire at a large space such as an atrium, a supermarket, a large sized exhibition hall, or a refuse pit of a refuse incineration plant, by a simple structure, a less number of devices, and a reduced initial setting work. SOLUTION: A water spraying region 17 is a rectangular area continuing from the point directly under the rotational center location of a rotational piping joint 7 to a maximum shooting distance. Then, the water spraying region 17 ensures a minimum water spraying density or higher required for a fire extinguishing at every point in the rectangular area. By driving an electric motor 15, the water spraying region 17 is rotated at 360 deg. on a point directly under the rotational center location of the rotational piping joint 7. In order to keep the water-spraying pressure or the water-spraying amount at a specified value, an orifice is provided on the primary side of the piping 5.
