PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder in which a high quality image can be obtained constantly without bothering a user by detecting the cause of deteriorating image quality accurately and solving it efficiently. SOLUTION: Based on the difference S (S=G-Y) between data Y obtained by reading out an image recorded on a recording medium and image data G to be recorded essentially, a cause of deteriorating image quality is detected and a method for eliminating the cause is determined. A head is sustained constantly in a state for performing normal recording by effecting the determined method. |
