PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive transfer recording material excellent in the shape stability in a printing surface by a method wherein a colored ink excellent in a production stability or the like is employed. SOLUTION: In this heat sensitive transfer recording material, in which an amorphous organic high molecular weight polymer-containing heat sensitive ink layer is provided on a support, the amorphous organic high molecular weight polymer is a poly(vinyl butyral) having a viscosity of 50 to 240 cP in a solvent of (toluene : ethanol=1:1), a degree of butyralation of 75 to 78 wt.% and a polyvinyl alcohol content of 18 to 22 wt.%. |
