PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treating apparatus which reduces the drying time of garbage. SOLUTION: The drying time of garbage is reduced in such away that a vaporizing rate is increased by enhancing the output of a heater (not shown in Fig.) in an initial stage of operation or a final stage, or in the initial stage and the final stage.
