PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuned mass damper easily adjusting the period of moving a mass in a wide range and facilitating the installation work at a site. SOLUTION: The mass 5 is attached in the center in the length direction of a deflection vibrating element 4 composed of a steel material, the deflection vibrating element 4 is provided with frequency adjusting mechanisms 6, 6 deflecting the vibrating element 4, and the deflecting vibrating element 4 is upward deflected into a projection by the frequency adjusting mechanisms 6, 6 so that the period of moving the mass 5 can be adjusted into small or large. A member 11 is a spring elastic body made of rubber or the like.
