PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of warning a lowering of tire inflation pressure capable of improving the accuracy in the detection of decompression by detecting a highly decompressed state before the start of traveling. SOLUTION: In tire method of warning the lowering of the tire inflation pressure for judging the lowering of the internal pressure of tires mounted on a four-wheeled vehicle, a threshold value for judging the decompression just before the turning-on an ignition key is determined to be higher than at the ordinary vehicle traveling, the decompression is judged by a decompression judging time shorter than that at the ordinary vehicle traveling, and the threshold value for judging the decompression and the decompression judging time are reset to those for the ordinary vehicle traveling, when the decompression is not judged.
