PURPOSE: A floor mat manufacturing method for a vehicle is provided to improve the quality by mounting nylon thread in a rubber plate firmly with hot melting, and to cut down expenses by simplifying the manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: Nylon thread(3) is placed in the upper part of a rubber plate(2), and the surface of the rubber plate is molten. The surface of the rubber plate is heated at temperatures of 150-175 deg.C for 5-10 minutes to keep the state of gel. The temperature of nylon thread is kept to be less than 50 deg.C. The nylon thread is placed on the surface of the rubber plate, and mounted in the rubber plate by pressing. A mat body(1) is manufactured with mounting the nylon thread on the rubber plate by hot melting. The nylon thread is molten on the rubber plate with forming a sill(a) in the rubber plate. The productivity is increased with simplifying the process, and the cost is reduced.
