<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel artificial stone which has an adequate strength as at least an interior material and armoring material of an architecture and can supply a beautiful decorative laminated sheet which is ornamentally durable for the use as an artificial stone like a natural stone and a producing method thereof. SOLUTION: This artificial stone is featured in that a fusion molding of burned residue is obtained by melting and solidifying the burned residue in a fusion furnace discharged from an incinerator, the fusion molding is cut to a prescribed thickness and the cut surface thereof is polished. This producing method of the artificial stone comprises the process of producing the fusion molding of the burned residue by melting and solidifying the burned residue discharged from the incinerator in the fusion furnace, the process of cutting the fusion molding to the prescribed thickness and the process of polishing the surface thereof.</p> |
