PURPOSE: An apparatus for sealing an LCD(liquid crystal display) panel is to prevent flow and sputtering of a sealing material during a sealing process of a liquid crystal injecting port, thereby preventing defect of the LCD panel due to spots of the sealing material. CONSTITUTION: A sealing material injecting needle is directed to a liquid crystal injecting port(58) of an LCD panel to inject a sealing material(52) into the liquid crystal injecting port. A gas injecting unit injects high pressure gas in a direction of the liquid crystal injecting port to prevent flow and sputtering of the sealing material. In the gas injecting unit, a gas storing portion stores the high pressure gas to be injected. A gas injecting needle(66) is connected with the gas storing portion to inject the gas. A supplying pipe(64) supplies the gas from an outside to the gas storing portion. The gas injecting port of the gas injecting needle is positioned at a lower portion than the sealing material injecting port of the sealing material injecting needle. The high pressure gas is nitrogen gas.
