PURPOSE: To maintain high power factor, sufficient to meet actual service conditions with respect to fluctuations in load or AC input voltage, and restrain generation of ripple components. CONSTITUTION: This switching power circuit is provided with a power factor improved circuit for a combined resonance converter, where switching output voltage obtained in a primary resonance circuit is fed back to the power factor improved circuit 10 via a tertiary winding N3 and a series resonance capacitor C3.
