PURPOSE: A glass breaker easily breaks a glass with a simple operation to secure rapid escape of passengers from a car. CONSTITUTION: A glass breaker comprises a vessel(11), a cover(14), multiple metal balls(15) and an initiating switch(16). The vessel(11) is installed to be attached to a glass(2) so that an open side thereof faces the glass(2) and has explosive(12) and a detonator(13) to explode the explosive(12) inside thereof. The cover(14) seals the opening surface of the vessel(11) and is made of material easily smashed by the explosion. The metal balls(15) are inserted in the explosive packed in the vessel(11) to burst out through the opening surface of the vessel(11) to break the glass(2) when the explosive explodes. The initiating switch(16) activates the detonator(13).
