KNITTED FABRIC COMPRISING PILE STITCH, MOSS-STITCH AND PLAIN STITCH AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To knit a varied knitted fabric having three kinds of stitches of a moss-stitch, a plain stitch and a pile stitch. CONSTITUTION: This method produces a jacquard knitted fabric comprising pile stitch, a moss-stitch composed of ground yarn and pile yarn and a plain stitch in a double needle selection knitting machine. This knitted fabric is obtained by the method. The plain stitch or the moss-stitch is performed by either a cylinder or a dial capable of selecting at, least a knitting/tucking needle. The pile stitch is carried out by the other dial or cylinder capable of selecting at least a pile/non-pile needle.
