PURPOSE: A tale gate latch makes it possible to open a tale gate from the inside so as to make easy the entrance of a passenger through the tale gate. CONSTITUTION: An inside lever actuating a connect link(58) is installed in an outside lever(70) and connected with an inside handle installed in a tale gate by the rod(14). If the inside handle is actuated in the tale gate, the rod(14) connected therewith actuates the inside lever, which makes the connect link(58) to actuate a latch lever(60). The latch lever(60) action makes a tale gate striker to unlock so as to make it possible to open the tale gate inside thereof thereby making the entrance of a passenger through the tale gate easier.
