PURPOSE: A process for growing bean sprouts by using only activated water produced from a far infrared generator without using agricultural chemicals harmful to a human body or other growth promoting agents is provided, thereby producing bean sprouts having good color, glossiness and freshness in high yield without giving out an unpleasant smell in the interior of a factory. CONSTITUTION: This process comprises the steps of storing beans at low temperature; washing with salt treated with far infrared rays and activated water; soaking in activated water for about 3 hr; growing at 20deg.C by supplying water at 20deg.C 8 times a day; deodorizing with a deodorizing apparatus; and packing by using a ceramic coating agent. |
