PURPOSE: A device for intercepting the supply of water is provided to remarkably decrease noise by operating a water supply intercepting valve to operate for a certain time. CONSTITUTION: An end part of a water supply pipe(2) in a reservoir tank(1) is manipulated to decrease the noise generated when water is discharged from a discharge hole of the end part. The end part is maintained in parallel with the side or bottom of the reservoir tank for minimizing the collision energy of discharged water. As a float(7) rises up to be connected to a water supply intercepting valve(4), an auxiliary float(10) is used or a float rise controller is operated to momentarily intercept water supply. Accordingly, the length of the water pipe is largely decreased for eliminating noise. The water supply intercepting valve is installed at the bottom of the reservoir tank and supplies water.
