PURPOSE: A method for informing a caller of a receiving state in a mobile communication system is provided to effective use a radio resource by quickly providing information to a caller as to whether a caller is in an area where a call-reception is not possible, whether he or she is in an area where a call reception is possible but in a bad situation to answer, or whether a call connection is not available due to much traffic. CONSTITUTION: It is checked whether a reception signal strength of a terminal is higher than a pre-set signal strength to determine whether the terminal is in a reception-available area(ST11). If the terminal is not in a reception-available area, the reception-unavailable state is displayed on the terminal and a reception-unavailable message is transmitted to a base station, so that when a signal calling the terminal is received, the fact that a caller is in a reception-unavailable area is informed a caller(ST12,ST13). If the terminal is in a reception-available area, the reception-available state is displayed on the terminal and a reception-available message is transmitted to the base station(ST14,ST15). |
