The invention relates to a device for producing ground meat patties consisting of beef and/or pork which, in order to increase the quantity of output, is comprised of a shaping plate (11) that can be moved from a filling position, which is located inside a shaping station, and into an ejection position, which is located outside of said shaping station. The shaping plate (11) comprises shaping holes (24), which are arranged in two rows located one behind the other such that they are offset with regard to one another in the direction of movement. The inventive device also comprises a system (17-20) through which the ground meat, while under pressure, can be introduced into the shaping holes (24) from underneath via filling slots (16), which are assigned to each shaping hole (24), whereby the shaping holes (24) are closed on top by means of an air evacuation plate (12). An anti-lip bar (21) is also provided, which serves to reduce excess pressure, which is arranged in the exit area of the shaping station and which comprises a continuous longitudinal slot. The inventive device additionally comprises an ejection device (22), which is located outside of the shaping station over the ejection position of the shaping plate (11) and which has ejection cups (23) that are matched to the number and the position of the shaping holes (24) of the shaping plate (11).
