The sound belt comprises a belt to be worn around a person's waist, an elongated low frequency transducer for reproducing low frequency sound, and a pair of medium and high frequency transducers for reproducing medium and high frequency sound. The elongated low frequency transducer is longitudinally mounted on the belt, and the medium and high frequency transducers are mounted on the belt at the respective ends of the elongated low frequency transducer. Each medium and high frequency transducer comprises a pyramidal acoustic cavity for increasing the sound level and improving the quality of the sound reproduced by the transducer. This pyramidal acoustic cavity comprises an acoustic pyramidal wall structure defining an apex, and an opening at the apex of the wall structure through which sound waves produced by the acoustic transducer are projected within the acoustic wall structure. The low frequency transducer comprises an elongated acoustic cone having a length L and a diameter D respecting the proportion L>4D, and a tubular acoustic cabinet in which the elongated low frequency transducer is mounted.
