<p>A component for a printhead module (12) includes a printhead chip (18) and a flexible printed circuit board (PCB, 54) on which the chip (18) is mounted. A carrier having fluid communication channels (72) defined therein supplies ink to the chip (18). The PCB (54) is bonded to the carrier in a liquid tight manner so that the PCB (54) forms a wall of an ink supply chamber (30) of the printhead module (12).</p> |
