A molecular compound in which interaction sites and the force of interaction in polymer aggregates are fixed and controlled and the component polymer can be arranged or homogenized, and which is useful in the field of high-technology materials, such as formulation, wastewater treatment, an energy transducer, a conductor, a vital model reaction, etc.; and a method of arranging and/or homogenizing a polymer having hydrogen bonds. The molecular compound is prepared from a tetrakisaryl compound represented by general formula (1) [wherein X represents (CH2)n or p-phenylene; n is 0, 1, 2, or 3; Y represents hydroxy, carboxyl, or optionally substituted amino; and R<1> and R<2> each represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, optionally substituted phenyl, halogeno, or lower alkoxy] and a polymer having hydrogen bonds, such as a polyether, polyalcohol, or polyamine.
