The present invention relates to a combination of a first agent including either a 5-HT4 receptor agonist or antagonist or a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist and a co-agent and pharmaceutical compositions and formulations containing t he combination. The pharmaceutical combination may be employed for the treatmen t of altered gastrointestinal motility, sensitivity, secretion or abdominal disorders. The dosage is preferably oral. The preferred first agent is tegaserod.
