The invention provides polypeptides, designated herein as TLMP polypeptides, as well as polynucleotides encoding TLMP polypeptides, and antibodies that immunospecifically-bind to TLMP polypeptide or polynucleotide, or derivatives, variants, mutants or fragments thereof. The invention additionally provides methods in which the TLMP polypeptide, polynucleotide, and antibody are used in the detection, prevention, and treatment of a broad range of pathological states.
