<p>The present invention provides an organic EL display device comprising a pair of electrodes and at least one organic layer interposed between the electrodes. At least one of the electrodes comprises an indium oxide-containing transparent electrode at a site corresponding to a light emitting area. A metal electrode is provided at a site other than the site corresponding to the light emitting area, where the metal electrode is connected to the transparent electrode.
