Peptide, process of its preparation, pharmaceutical preparation containing the peptide and use thereof

The invented peptide has a general formula X-Glu-Trp-X, in which all the substituents have meanings indicated in the claims. Preparation process of the peptide is characterized by bringing into reaction an amino acid alkyl ester contained in a solution with tertiary butyloxycarbonyl amino acid, followed by successive extension of the peptide chain by employing method of activated esters and by employing method of mixtured anhydrides a successive linking of the tertiary butyloxycarbonyl amino acid is carried out, whereby in each stage cleavage of tertiary butylcarbonyl group precede by the acting of formic acid, whereupon a peptide is obtained by purification of obtained products by crystallization, which peptide is further purified by reverse phase chromatography. In the present invention there is also claimed a pharmaceutical preparation for modulating response of immune system and stimulation of lymphocyte production, which contains as active substance the polypeptide according to the present invention in connection with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The peptide according to the present invention is suitable for use as medicament for modulating physiological processes concerning immune system.
