PURPOSE: A bit line sense amplifier is provided to prevent sensitivity of the sense amplifier from being dropped by compensating for asymmetry of the bit line sense amplifier. CONSTITUTION: A bit line equalizing part(20) equalizes bit lines at the same voltage. A read operation controller(30) is connected to a global bit line and an NMOS flip-flip part(50) for sensing, and controls a read operation in response to an input of a read signal. A write operation controller(40) is connected to the global bit line and a local bit line, and controls a write operation in response to an input of a write signal. A compensation part(60) compensates for threshold voltage discordance of the NMOS flip-flop(50). A switching part(70) supplies a voltage when the compensation circuit operates or in a read operation. A restore part(80) stores a read cell value, and is connected to the global bit line.
