The belt roller mechanism (101) consists of a spring (106) with one end attached to a crown ring (105) connected to the belt (102). The other end of the spring is attached to a sleeve (104) located round a peg (107) fixed to the body (108) of the mechanism. The crown ring and sleeve form a housing (103) for the spring (106), with the ring able to turn about the sleeve. The sleeve has a connector (110) for attaching it to the sleeve in fixed or rotating positions in relation to the peg, allowing the spring tension to be regulated.
