<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission reservation control system for wireless packet communication that can increase the number of terminals which can be housed. SOLUTION: One frame consists of a reservation slot and a plurality of transmission slots. Each voice terminal has reference frames being an interval of voice coding and virtual frames. The virtual frame has the same length as that of the reference frame but its head slot is shifted. One of the virtual frames is newly assigned to a voice terminal requesting transmission reservation. When there is temporarily high traffic in excess of transmission rate, the transmission timing of each terminal is transferred to later slots in a possible range. Furthermore, in the case of assigning transmission reservation, the reservation packet is assigned to a part of data packets with priority over voice packets.</p> |
