PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive thermoplastic bottle of superior recycle properties and also oxygen and CO2 barrier properties for which an existing manufacturing equipment can be utilized and the remarkable increase of the manufacturing rate can be realized and also provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A plastic bottle of oxygen and CO2 barrier properties having a surface layer, which is formed by using an atmospheric low temperature plasma and applying the organic and/or inorganic film coating or the surface treatment at least on one of the outer surface and the inner surface of the plastic bottle, is provided and also a manufacturing method thereof is provided.
