PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which can fetch an object image where a detection object composed of bar codes or objects is located with a CCD camera and can detect a binary image obtained by accurately recognizing the detection object without being influenced by the illumination state from the object image. SOLUTION: This image processor fetches a reference image with no detection object composed of the bar codes or objects in a frame RAM 5 with the CCD camera 2 and meanwhile, the object image where the detection object is located is fetched by the camera 2, performs a binary signal judgement according to the finite difference between a variable density value held by each pixel of the camera 2 and a variable density value held by each pixel existing at a corresponding position of the reference image at this time and successively increases the finite difference more as the variable density value of the reference image gets large. Therefore, it is possible to detect the binary image obtained by accurately recognizing the detection object from the detection image fetched by the camera 2 without being influenced by the illumination state. |
