<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument panel for an airbag having a built-in airbag door, preventing separation between a surface cover and a cushion layer and between the cushion layer and a core during deployment of the airbag, preventing leaking of a resin foam solution to the outside, and being excellent in performance and appearance. SOLUTION: The instrument panel 1 bas a rupturing part 11 provided around the airbag door 9. A groove is formed in the surface cover at the rupturing part and the thickness of the cushion layer at the rupturing part is reduced. The terminal 19 of the airbag door 9 is placed in a position closer to the airbag 17 than the groove 13 in the surface cover 3. At the connection 12 between the airbag door 9 and the core 7, a curved projection 4 projecting toward the core 7 is provided on the airbag door 9 and the core 7 is provided with a curved groove 4. The curved projection 2 fits into the curved groove 4 to prevent leaking of the resin foam solution.</p> |
