PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a promoter which commands the transcription of Lentinula edodes tyrosinase, a terminator which commands the termination of the transcription of L. edodes tyrosinase, a recombination vector containing the promoter and/or the terminator, a transformant containing the recombination vector, and to provide a method for producing a polypeptide using the transformant. SOLUTION: The following DNA is provided which can function as a promoter: (a) DNA containing base sequence represented by formula 1 (the detailed structure; refer to the corresponding specification), or (b) DNA which contains a base sequence modified by deleting, substituting, or adding one base or more from, in, or to the base sequence represented by formula 1, both having a promoter activity. |
