PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stability and improve fuel consumption while carrying out the generation of seating noises of an intake valve, reduction of a consumption power, and improvement of durability, in an engine provided at each cylinder with two electromagnetically driven suction valves. SOLUTION: Fuel injection valves 7A and 7B are mounted on intake ports 5A and 5B, respectively. On a given operation condition that an intake air quantity is high enough to allow opening of one suction valve, suction valves 3A and 3B are alternately opened at intervals of a given time and fuel is injected through only a fuel injection valve 7A or 7B corresponding to the suction valve brought into an opening state. |
