PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labeling device for continuously sticking labels without stopping a carrier conveyor 3 even in the state in which the position and posture of materials 1 to be continuously carried on the carrying conveyor 3 are not constant. SOLUTION: A photograph of a material 1 to be carried is taken by a camera 21 on the upstream side of a carrier conveyor 3, and a photographed image is processed by an image processor 27 to recognize the position, posture and shape of the material to be carried, and the carrying distance for the carrying conveyor is sensed by an encoder 45. A robot 29 is moved to label feeders 47a and 47b to feed labels 49a and 49b to a chuck 39, and then based on a movement data formed by utilizing the position of the recognized material 1 to be carried and the sensed carrying distance thereof, and the robot is moved to the material to be carried, and the posture of the robot is changed based on the recognized posture and the labeling operation is carried out.
