SOLUTION: In the liquid storage device provided with a vibration-sensitive instrument 11 transmitting an earthquake signal in a specified earthquake, a controller 12 transmitting a control signal controlling the entire body, and a driving part 13 driving a shutt-out valve 7 in compliance with a signal from the controller 12 to close an extraction opening 5, a float 10e having a lower density than the liquid and a vent valve 10 formed of a valve seat 10c, etc., are erected in a water distribution pipe 5.
