SPECIAL COMPOSITE FALSE TWIST TEXTURED YARN AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a special composite false twist textured yarn excellent in refreshing feeling, having a smooth surface touch, assuming a rayonlike feeling and further having an elastic feeling and a spunized appearance in combination. SOLUTION: This special composite false twist textured yarn of a two-layer structure in which a multifilament yarn having a high elongation comprising polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate as a sheath part is wrapped around a polytrimethylene terephthalate multifilament yarn having a low elongation as a core part. The filaments of the sheath part are composed of hollow filaments in which a hollow state is pulsed in the longitudinal direction and the maximum hollowness thereof is <=1.4 times of the hollowness prior to the false twist texturing. The cross-sectional shape of the filaments in the sheath part in the cross section of the composite false twist textured yarn is 1.5-4.5 flatness and the distribution of the hollowness thereof is 0-60%. The ratio of the collapsed hollow part is <=50%.
