PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge capable of controlling the opening/closing speed of a door and temporarily stopping it during the opening or closing with relatively light force without using a door checker. SOLUTION: This hinge comprises right and left blade plates 2, 4 having tube sections 6, 8 curled at one end, a tube section 10 of an independent cylinder, a shaft center 12 penetrating the three tube sections 6, 8, 10 and having a truncated cone section 12c, a bearing 20 having an inverted cone section 20a kept in contact with the truncated cone section 12c, and a pressing means 24 pressing the contact face between the truncated cone section 12c and the inverted cone section 20a. One blade plate 4 and the shaft center 12 are made relatively rotatable, and the independent tube section 10 and the shaft center 12 are made relatively unrotatable.
