PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle carrier device for carrying a bicycle in an upright state in a cargo zone of a vehicle such as a mini-van, a vehicle for sports or all-purpose, a pick-up truck or the like. SOLUTION: This bicycle carrier device 10 includes a totally U or V-shaped long lower rail 18 firmly fixed to a floor 14a of a cargo zone 14 of a vehicle 16. An upper rail 20 is slidably mounted on the lower rail. The lower rail includes a pair of first rollers 24, and the upper rail includes a pair of additional rollers 48. A mechanism 25 to be engaged with a front fork 12b of the bicycle when a front wheel of a bicycle 12 is disassembled, and a remained part of the bicycle is placed on the device, is mounted on the upper rail. A rear wheel 12a of the bicycle is fitted in the upper rail for firmly holding the bicycle in an upright state when the front fork of the bicycle is once fixed to the upper rail.
