PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a player from getting bored and improve the excitement in a game machine wherein a player plays with balls in a game area which contains a special game area. SOLUTION: An operation hole 3 and a jackpot hole 4 are provided on the game board 2 of a Pachinko machine 1. A display 8 with a display section 8a is built onto the center of the game board 2. The display 8 has a center frame 21 enclosing the front part of the display section 8a. The center frame 21 has a ceiling portion 23, right and left side portions 24 and a lower portion 25. After entering an entrance portion 27 of the ceiling portion 23, a game ball 5 is guided through a game ball passage 31 onto a stage 29. The height of the stage 29 is continually different, that is, its middle portion forms a hill- like convex portion 32 and its right and left sides form a concave portion 33.
