PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the transfer speed of a shared bus from becoming the bottleneck in processing. SOLUTION: This image processor for storing inputted image information in a page memory 12 to transfer it to an input part 13 via the shared bus 14 is provided with a compressing part 15 for compressing the image information to generate compressed data and an expansion part 18 for expanding the compressed data to generated expanded data and transfers the compressed data to the part 18 via the bus 14.
