摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device capable of performing a still operation even when an inexpensive general purpose motor which is advantageous in cost in used in the device and also the device is in a state in which an address detection is impossible. SOLUTION: This device detects that an optical disk 1 has made a revolution by using the number of stipulated frames recorded in a revolution of the disk 1 by counting the number of frame synchronizing signals H21 obtained based on read-out information from an optical pickup 3 and it makes the pickup 3 jump to an adjacent original track at this point of time to execute a hold track by reapting this operation.
