SPRING-TYPE COMPACT SLIP-DOWN PREVENTIVE DEVICE FOR CV CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring-type compact slip-down preventive device for a CV cable which can reduce a necessary space in the circumferential direction thereof by devising the arrangement of springs for tightening cable holding members radially to enable the installation in a small dimension duct. SOLUTION: Guide bolts are extended in duct inlet metal fittings in the axial direction of a CV cable. Half-divided cable holding members linked with the guide bolts via the springs are tightened radially by the springs to hold the CV cable so as not to move in the axial direction of the cable. The springs for tightening the cable radially are provided on and under the coupling flanges of the cable holding members. Plates for holding the springs for tightening the cable radially are integrally formed on the cable holding members.
