PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a conversation with a portable telephone in hands-free state without hauling during driving of a car without requiring a dedicated speaker. SOLUTION: An adapter 1 for hands-free talk for portable telephone is composed of a cassette adapter 3 loaded into a cassette deck for outputting voices to a speaker, and having a magnetic head for transmitting the voice output to the head for voice reproducing of the cassette deck, a main body part 2 having a microphone 21, a voice input/output circuit and a switch 22 for turning on/off the received signal of a portable telephone, and a connecting cord 5 having an earphone/microphone plug 4 for connecting the magnetic head and the microphone to the earphone/microphone output terminal of the main body of portable telephone, A hauling preventing circuit is provided for preventing voices from being outputted from a microphone 21 to the side of the portable telephone while voices are inputted from the portable telephone.
