PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output coupler for coupling a waveguide with a travel ing wave tube capable of increasing the diameter of an opening for passing an electron beam with less heat resistance. SOLUTION: A traveling wave tube system with output end coupled with output waveguide is characterized by comprising a hollow barrel 24, a long hollow low speed wave transmission structure 26 attached inside the hollow barrel 24 and having an inside path to pass an electron beam, a traveling wave tube having an electron beam source generating the electron beam passing through the inside and an input coupling part attached to a first end of the low speed wave transmission structure 26, and an output waveguide 50 arranged to a second end of the low speed wave transmission structure and supplied with output from the long hollow low speed wave transmission structure 26 by way of an output coupler, wherein the output coupler 48 comprises a hollow end member 80 as a single unit whose inside 86 comes into contact with the long hollow low speed wave transmission structure 26 and passing the electron beam, and the output waveguide 50 is brought into contact with the outside surface of the end member 80.
