PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera allowing a user to easily grasp a state of a power source by comprehensibly displaying the states of charging and the power source of the camera. SOLUTION: In this camera, a secondary battery 4 is rechargeable with an output current from a solar battery 3 through a charge control part 2. This camera operates with the energy of the secondary battery 4, and the flickering pattern of a display on an LCD 7 is changed over by CPU 1 according to the state of charging of the secondary battery 4.
